IIn an old country village with a 12th century tower and a 13th century fortress, an enchanting 1600 CASTLE with an original park is being restored. The historical building is going to be divided in a series of apartments and mansonettes for vacation or permanent home.
All kinds of events are organised all year around: sport, cultural tourism, naturalistic, thermal and religious; festivals (dance, music, theatre), historical celebrations. A new golf course is due to be built in the surroundings and numerous country walks links close castles. A special restraint of monuments and Fine Arts Office of Piedmont is laid to preserve the 1600 park and CASTLE mainly the Lords Chapel, the Alcova Hall and the monumental outside staircase.
The complex situated on the crest of the hillside of Basso Monferrato (Lower Monferrato Hills) looks onto a hilly panorama and on a breath taking view of the Alpi. It is also in the middle of a region known for its castles, monuments and roman archeology, with a famous enologic tradition with a wide variety of wines DOC, vineries and typical restaurants.
